Is there a guarantee on your products? All blinds have a standard 1-year guarantee for normal use on the product and workmanship Where are your franchises located? Please see the dealer locator page What is the lead time on your blinds and shutters? Standard blinds take between 5-10 working days from date of order. Shutters take between 6-8 weeks from date of order. Do wooden blinds fade? Yes, wood is a natural product and it does fade over a period of time. The fading is not alarming, is generally uniform and is more pronounced on the side facing the sun more often. Please feel free to discuss this with your Franchisee. Is it possible to clean my blinds? Yes, we offer a professional blind cleaning service. Please see the general tips section for more information on cleaning your blinds yourself. Do your folding doors have a bottom rail? No, none of our folding doors have a bottom rail. They are all top hung. Do your folding doors lock? Yes, all our folding doors are supplied with locks and keys. The standard price allows for a lock one side of the door, but an additional lock can be supplied at an additional cost. I need a blind that will give me total privacy. What is my best option? Any of the blinds we supply will give you privacy. If you require the light to be blocked out a roller blind with blockout material and side channels is your best option. The cords and laces on my blinds are looking grubby. Can I replace them? Yes, they can be replaced. This needs to be done in the factory. If you call any of our Franchisees, they will arrange to collect the blinds, have them repaired and re-install them for you. If one of the slats in my blinds break, do I have to buy a whole new blind? No, we can replace individual slats. This can be done without removing the blind. Can I have blinds if I already have burglar bars or security doors? How would it work? Yes, you can have blind installed where there are burglar blinds. We may need to mount the blind outside the reveal or may have to use special brackets depending on the depth of the reveal and the size and type of burglar bar. Are your blinds suitable for use over doors? There are certain blinds that are suitable for use over doors. We do have a specially designed door blind in the venetian blind range. What type of blinds would you recommend for use in a bathroom? Aluminium Venetian blinds or Fauxwood Venetian blinds. Are LifeStyle Shutters suitable for outdoor use? The Lifestyle Shutters are only suitable for indoor use. The Shutterguard can be used externally. Do you manufacture your own products? Most of our suppliers are part of the Windovert group, but we do source some of our products outside the Group in order to offer a wider range of colours and product.
